Anna McCauley Johnson, 55, passed away on March 10, 2013 at her home in Verona, Va. She was born on July 3, 1957 to Solomon and Louise McCauley at the University Of Virginia.
She graduated from Albemarle County High School in 1976 and moved to the Shenandoah Valley a few years later in 1980.
Anna enjoyed sewing and crocheting everything from quilts and blankets to doll dresses and hats for her friends and family. No matter what life brought her way, she always knew how to be a loving mom. The many smiles and laughs expressed how much she loved spending time with her grandchildren, as it seemed to be the highlight of any day. Keeping in touch with family was very important to her. Her warm and caring personality made her easy to talk to and she never met a stranger.
