Aileen S. Wright

Staunton, VA… Aileen Roberta “Buddy” (Slosson) Wright, 90, widow of Robert P. Wright of 457 Middlebrook Road, died Friday, February 24, 2017 at her residence. She was born on September 29, 1926 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late William and Grace Aileen (Wright) Slosson. She is survived by a son, Roger B. Wright of Staunton, a daughter, Roberta “Bobbi” W. Kennedy of Waynesboro; a granddaughter, Wendy Fretwell and husband, Mike, of Stuarts Draft; three great grandchildren, Dreama (Fretwell) Choate, and husband, Andrew, and Donna and Jaime Fretwell; a brother, Richard Slosson and a sister, Virginia Higgs, both of Waynesboro. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by three brothers. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017 in Hebron Presbyterian Church Cemetery by Rev. Frank Wyche and Rev. Philip Sieck. The family will receive friends from 2 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the residence.
