Anita M. Edwards

GREENVILLE, VA…   Anita Mae Edwards, 72, of Greenville, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at Augusta Medical Center. Anita had a Christ-centered heart and she is now in the presence of our beloved Savior.  She lived out her faith and believed that it was truly better to give than to receive.  She was an accountant most of her life and entrepreneur, starting four businesses: Kare Packages, Inc., Greenville Cheese Shoppe, Edwards Consulting Forestry and AD Construction. Anita is survived by her husband, Larry Edwards, Son, Clif Edwards; daughter Laura Morris; step-daughter, Angie Robinson; step-son, Mark Edwards; grandchildren, Iona, Sam and Val Edwards, Katie Mae Morris, Austin and Marielle Robinson, Sara Venable; great-grandson, Forrest Venable; sister, Marcie Schwisow and brothers, Jerry and Erl Hendrickson. A memorial service will be held at Stuarts Draft Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 3 at 6:00 PM. The service will be led by a dear friend, Mike Clark. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Riverheads Weekday Religious Education, PO Box 31, Greenville, VA 24440.
