ANNE B. JONES STAUNTON, VA Anne B. Jones, 94, of Staunton, died Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Envoy of Staunton. She was born July 8, 1918, in Staunton a daughter of the late Rev. Francis Fitzgerald and Ethel (McClure) Jones. Prior to retirement, Miss Jones was employed by the Augusta County School System. She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. Family members include a sister, Meade Randolph Jones Loomis of Staunton; and nephews, Robert Bolling Christian and John Brownlee Christian, IV, both of Swoope. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Rev. Frank Fitzgerald Jones, Jr., Rev. Dale McClure Jones, and James Alexander Jones; and a sister, Mary Boyd Jones Christian. A graveside service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012, in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery by the Revs. Philip Seek and Phil Sommer. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
