Jessup, MD - Anna Lee (Vaughn) Scott, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, in Jessup, Maryland. She was born on November 3, 1947, in Staunton, Virginia to Anna and Samuel Vaughn.

She attended Booker T. Washington High School where she graduated. Ann worked at John Hopkins Hospital in the Applied Physics Lab for 48 years, where she retired.

Ann better known as Wee Wee was a very family-oriented, loving woman. Thanksgiving dinners and cookouts were always hosted at her house. The Dallas Cowboys was her favorite football team. Ann loved going to the casino, buying scratch off tickets, and playing her daily lottery. Her favorite pastime was playing Poker for a quarter while drinking her favorite drink, Bud Light.

Ann was preceded in death by her mom and dad Anna and Samuel Vaughn, husband Worthy Scott, and daughter Tajuana Sanders (Scott).

She leaves to cherish her memories, her sisters, Connie Thompson (Dwight), Cathy Evans (Mitchie), Elizabeth Vaughn (Roger), her brothers, William Vaughn (Peggy) and Johnnie Vaughn (Regina); her son Tarik Sanders; her nephew/son, Andre Vaughn; her bonus daughters Aisha Jacobs and Amanda Williams-Hankins; son-in-law, Leon Hankins; her grandchildren, Shantae, Cliff, Najah, Nasim, Evan, Alante and Eva; and great-grandchildren, Jayla, Cliff II, and Amari; two best girlfriends Geraldine and Grace; and a host of family and friends that will miss her greatly.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends a half hour prior to the service.
