Anna Loraine (Howdyshell) Thompson, 88, widow of Willie Benjamin Thompson, died Friday, December 4, 2020 in Envoy of Staunton.
She was born on October 15, 1932 in Stokesville, VA, a daughter of the late Robert Whitney and Helen Louise (Knott) Howdyshell.
She was previously employed by Western State Hospital.
She is survived by a son, Willie Benjamin Thompson, Jr. and two grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Eugene Thompson and a daughter, Deborah Laverne Thompson.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by the Rev. Larry Strickler.
