Barbara Ann (Weaver) Puffenbarger

BARBARA A. PUFFENBARGER  STAUNTON, VA… Barbara Ann (Weaver) Puffenbarger, 72, wife of Carl Junior Puffenbarger, of Staunton, died Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at her residence. She was born February 14, 1946 in Staunton, a daughter of the late Homer and Shirley (Craig) Weaver. Prior to retirement, she was a private duty nurse. Barbara was a member of Parkview Christian Church.   In addition to her husband, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Wendy Alphin of Staunton; a daughter, Yvonne Agner of Mint Spring; a brother, Gary Weaver of Staunton; a sister, Judy Swisher of Verona; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Summer. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Garrison and a very special grandson, Jason Alphin. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Brandon Carter. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
