BEN C. WILLIAMSON VERONA, VA… Ben C. Williamson, of 30 Verona Court Blvd, died Friday, November 18, 2016, at his residence. He was born February 1, 1932, at Roanoke, a son of the late Winton K. and Grace (Carter) Williamson. He was a US Navy veteran and avid fisherman and woodworker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Null Williamson, his parents, and his sister, Juanita Hale. Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Tammye Burnette of Boulder, CO; one nephew; two nieces; and a special friend, Lois Critzer. A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2016, in Thornrose Cemetery by the Rev. Ed Pruitt. There will be no family night or viewing.
