BETHELENE M. ASHTON STAUNTON, VA… Bethelene May (Mitts) Ashton, 83, of Staunton, died Thursday, August 11, 2016 in Envoy of Staunton. She was born July 7, 1933, in Verona, a daughter of the late Lester W. and Dorothy Virginia (Guyer) Mitts.  She was a member of Fishersville Baptist Church. Family members include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Vincent L. and Joan Ashton and Victor L. Ashton; two grandchildren, Christine Marie Ashton and Daniel Leon Ashton; two step-grandsons, Kyle LaRose and Erik LaRose; a special aunt, Mary Guyer; a special cousin, Betty Croft; and a number of other cousins.Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
