Betty Agee

BETTY H. AGEE GREENVILLE, VA Betty (Hinty) Agee, 75, wife of Gary Allen Agee, of Greenville, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in York, SC on Thursday, October 15, 2015. She was born October 1, 1940, in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Robert Thomas and Mary (Mayo) Hinty. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Continuing Care in Staunton as a CNA. She was a member of the Pentecostal Outreach Church in Buena Vista. In addition to her husband, family members include a son, James Douglass Pugh, Jr. of Fairfax; five daughters, Crystal Lynne Agee of Greenville; Angela Dawn Agee of Greenville; Kimberlee Ann Kiser of York, SC, Michelle Leigh Kiser of Buena Vista, and Jennifer Ayers Cash of Natural Bridge; a brother, Charles Thomas Hinty of Charleston, SC; 11 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Allen Agee, II. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2015, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Old Providence ARP Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Kelvin Keiser, Justin Keiser, Gary Agee, Bill Gardner, Robert Kiser, and Avery Dover. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Kiser and John Christopher Hinty and members of the Pentecostal Outreach Church and her friends. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015, at the funeral home.
