Betty Gay Moyer Beam, 81, of Bridgewater, passed away June 2, 2017 in Richmond, VA. She was born March 4, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Chesley and Nelle Moyer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren E. Beam in 2007; and brothers, Chesley and Matt Moyer. Mrs. Beam is survived by three children: daughter, Gay Briggs, of Richmond, and two sons, Warren E. Beam, Jr. (Christie) of Richmond, and Daniel M. Beam (Melinda) of Harrisonburg. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Laura Stem (David), Sara Wingert (Tim), Sydney Townsend (Matthew), Makenzie Clifford (Andrew), Adam Smith and Dandridge Smith. Warren and Betty Gay owned and operated Troy Cleaners in Harrisonburg before moving to Bridgewater and continuing their love of doll house miniatures by operating Troy Miniature Shoppe. Visitation will be at 10 a.m.,Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Henry Funeral Home, Staunton, VA, with a graveside service following at Thornrose Cemetery at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bridgewater Rescue Squad, P.O.
