Betty Ann (Hicklin) Driver, 70, widow of Hampton Parkins “Park” Driver, Sr., of Staunton died Wednesday, January 18, 2017, in Envoy of Staunton. She was born January 10, 1947, in Staunton, a daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth Velma (Sheets) Hicklin. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, yard sales and working at Baldwin Park. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Raye Fridley. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Hampton, Jr. and Debbie Ann Driver of Staunton; a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann and Alan Lee Huffman of Waynesboro; a step-daughter, Patricia Hanger of Greenville; a brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Judy Hicklin of Stuarts Draft; four grandchildren, Brittany Prowell, Brandon Driver, Kristopher Huffman, and Emma Huffman; a step-grandchild, Donald Hanger; two aunts, Evelyn Myers of Weyers Cave and Thelma Sheets of Staunton; and a number of cousins. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 in Pleasant View Cemetery by the Rev. Harold W. “Pete” Campbell. Memorials may be made to the Augusta Regional SPCA, P.O.
