BETTY W. REXRODE CHURCHVILLE, VA Betty Jo (Wilfong) Rexrode, 81, widow of Douglas Rexrode, of Churchville, died Monday, September 23, 2013, at Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born June 5, 1932, in Monterey, a daughter of the late William Woodrow and Mary (Snyder) Wilfong. Prior to retirement, she worked at C&P Telephone Company of Virginia. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Family members include a daughter, Barbara Rexrode of Charlottesville; a brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Linda Wilfong of Manassas; and a sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Carlton Hull of Monterey. In addition to her husband of 64 years, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Wilfong; and two sisters, Lois Nuckols and Dodie Samples. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013, at St. James United Methodist Church by the Revs. Eddie Barnett and Ralph Grow. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Tim Marshall, Mark Nuckols, Billy Hull, Kevin Scott, David Beard, and William Wilfong. Honorary pallbearers will be her family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Henry Funeral Home.
