Billy Ray Botkin, Sr.

Billy Botkin, Sr., 68, husband of Dale Marie Botkin, of Verona died on Friday, October 12, 2012 at his residence. He was born May 21, 1944 in Warm Springs, a son of Robert and Icie Virginia (Varner) Botkin. Mr. Botkin was a retired truck driver for BTS. In addition to his wife, family members include sons, William Ray Botkin and wife, Rebecca, and Billy Botkin, Jr.; daughters, Lisa Silver, Lila Buchanan, and Gloria Botkin; brothers, Sherrill Botkin and Sandra, of Churchville, and Larry Botkin and Pat, of Staunton; three special grandchildren, Karri Wright, Clara Lewis and Maura Nicole Botkin; and numerous great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Robert Botkin. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by the Rev. Russell Heinrich. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Henry Funeral Home.
