Bonnie Jean Benson

BONNIE R. BENSON FISHERSVILLE, VA Bonnie Jean (Reeves) Benson, 82, of Fishersville, died Thursday, February 13, 2014, at Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born January 3, 1932, in Mt. Sidney, a daughter of the late Marshall Joseph and Ruby Viola (Corbin) Reeves. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Western State Hospital. She was a member of Verona United Methodist Church. Family members include two sons, Steven "Steve" Benson and wife, Karen, of Verona and Joe Benson and Randy of Roanoke; a daughter, Brenda Moyers and husband, Mike; three grandchildren, Stephanie Blizzard, Michael Benson, and Amber Depoy; six great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; three brothers, Richard, Gary "Pete", and Bennie Reeves; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Doug, and Tommy Reeves. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by the Rev. Robert J. Weeks. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
