Bonnie Jean Dewhurst

BONNIE C. DEWHURST  GREENVILLE, VA… Bonnie Jean (Conner) Dewhurst, 83, wife of James W. Dewhurst, of Greenville, died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Augusta Health. She was born October 16, 1933, in Greenville, a daughter of the late A. Ray and Louise (Cullen) Conner. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Genicom and also worked at Leggetts. She was a member of Pines Chapel Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband, family members include a son, Kevin Dewhurst and wife, Sonya; two grandchildren, Jamie and Raylene Dewhurst; and two step-grandchildren, Chelsea and Allysa Lembo. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Conner and two sisters, Betty Oliver and Patty Conner. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2017 in Pines Chapel Presbyterian Church by the Revs. Joe Condro and Merle Fisher.  Burial will follow in Pines Chapel Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Danny Landes, Tony Fitzgerald, Danny Fitzgerald, Donnie Harris, Wayne Gordon, and Danny Myrtle. Honorary pallbearers will be Monique McEniry, Sherry Cook, and Cathy Paccadolmi. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the church.
