BRENDA W. BOSSERMAN STUARTS DRAFT, VA… Brenda (Wright) Bosserman, 67, wife of Gary S. Bosserman, of 74 Forest Springs Drive, died Friday, April 1, 2016, following a courageous battle of 18 months against cancer. She was born February 6, 1949, in Waynesboro, a daughter of the late Frank E. and Ruby Mae (Rankin) Wright. She received her Associates Degree in Applied Science and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Blue Ridge Community College. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Western State Hospital with 35 years of service. She enjoyed shopping, flower gardening, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her husband of nearly 35 years, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Jennifer Barnes of Mobile, Alabama; a daughter, Andrea Bosserman and fiancé`, Christopher Fitzgerald of Staunton; a step-son, Brian Bosserman of Staunton; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Gaynell Ross of Hickory, North Carolina and Carolyn and Bobby McCoy of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Adrian Laureen Barnes, Adam Barnes, Briana Bosserman, Angela Fitzgerald, and Clayton Fitzgerald; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jack A. Ross. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Dee Flory. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Adam Barnes, Chris Fitzgerald, Eddie Smith, Timmy Talley, Frank Cox, and Devin Nelson. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2016, in the funeral home.
