BARBARA E. SULLIVAN STAUNTON, VA… Barbara Ann (Eggleston) Sullivan, 57, wife of Richard B. Sullivan, Jr., of Staunton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Kentucky. She was born August 28, 1960 in Staunton, a daughter of the late Walter Vest, Sr. and Elva May (Fitzgerald) Eggleston. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God. In addition to her husband, family members include three sons, Ray Allen Deacon, Jr. and Jason M. Deacon of Kentucky, Richard B. Sullivan, III and wife, Jamie, of Staunton, and Jason B. Sullivan and wife, Stacey, of Staunton; a daughter, Elizabeth A. Weiss and husband, Steven, of Churchville; two sisters, Helen M. Carter of Greenville and Elva Blackenship and husband, Ted, of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Isabella and Bryant Sullivan and Brianna and Brandon Bosserman; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and her beloved fur babies, Monroe, Sissy, Jessa, Sophie, and Kitty Si. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Eggleston and a sister, Susan Groah. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Daniel Carter. A private family burial will follow the service. Active pallbearers will be Jason Sullivan, Richard Sullivan, III, Steven Weiss, Billy Cash, Chris Perreault, and Ryan Fauver. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Deacon, Jr., Jason M. Deacon, Nicole Fauver, Leslie Cash, and Gilberetta Carter. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 in the funeral home and other times at the residence, 756 Buttermilk Spring Road, Staunton.
