Bernard (Bernie) Corson Hogg, III, 79, husband of Gail Hogg, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at his residence with family by his side.
Bernie was born on July 8, 1943, in Richmond, to the late Bernard Corson Hogg, Jr. and Roberta Dean (Garner) Hogg.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kyle Hogg of Staunton, VA, and Kelly Hogg (Heather); four grandchildren, Caleb, Lauren (Aaron), Gillian (Colin), and Calvin; two great-grandchildren, Emmett and Arthur, all of Richmond, VA; and Cynthia Sutherland (Steve) of Sadieville, KY; and many other wonderful family and friends.
Per request, there will be no public service. A private burial will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah.
