BILLY D. RULEMAN STAUNTON, VA Billy Dee Ruleman, 73, of 565 Buttermilk Spring Rd., Staunton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 4th at his residence. He was born November 6th, 1940 in Staunton, the eldest son of William A. and Lucile L. Ruleman. After a stint in the United State Marine Corps, he spent over 40 years in the used car business in Augusta County. He also owned and operated many restaurants and other businesses in the area. He was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an older sister, Nancy. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mildred Lines Ruleman, children Michael Ruleman (Robin) and Traci Marshall (Darrell). Grandchildren are Brian (Brittney), Brett and Brooke Marshall. Brothers include Larry (Beanie), Tom (Peggy), Jim (Mary), Wesley (Ruby) and sister Alice Vines (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. Visitation will be Friday, November 7th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Henry Funeral Home and at other times at the residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 9th at 2:00 pm at Hebron Presbyterian Church by the Reverend Frank Wyche with interment in the church cemetery. Casual attire is requested for all services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Youth Scholarship Fund at Hebron Presbyterian Church, 423 Hebron Rd., Staunton. The family wishes to thank Dr. Rob Marsh, Dr. Todd Wolf and the staff of UVA Hope Cancer Care Center and the nurses and staff of Hospice of the Shenandoah.
