Brenda June (Fitzgerald) Moore, 70, wife of James Lee Moore, passed away on January 17, 2022.
She was born on May 11, 1951 in Staunton, a daughter of the late Clyde Junior Fitzgerald and Eugenia Claire (Leach) Fitzgerald.
She was employed as a Vice-President at Planters Bank and Trust for 40 years.
In addition to her husband of 50 years, she is survived by a daughter Tami Leigh Taylor (Andrew Beech) of Waynesboro, a sister, Ora Jean Rexrode of Alaska, grandchildren Bryan Strawderman (Mary Cooper Strawderman) of Lynchburg; step-grandchildren, Brianna Vetrano of Colorado, Cameron Ragland of Virgnia, Nicole and Clayton Taylor, both of Staunton; a great-grandchild, Sawyer Strawderman, and step- great grandchildren, Harlynn Hubbard, Kyndel Spinner, Adaline Taylor, Peyton Ragland, and Skylynn Taylor.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teri Lynn Moore and a sister Mary Janet Fitzgerald.
The family will receive friends on Thursday January 20, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at Henry Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Friday January 21, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private.
