CARL L. "BUCK" KNIGHT VERONA Carl L. "Buck" Knight, 77, of 17 Mt. View Drive, Verona, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 10, 2012. He was born May 14, 1935 in Beckley, WV, the son of the late Oren and Archie (Phillips) Knight. He is survived by his loving wife, Claudia and son, William of Verona; two brothers, J. T. (Debbie) of Stuarts Draft and Lucky (Joyce) of Staunton; two sisters, Velma Moyers of Staunton, and Shirley (Columbus) Hagy of Churchville; one grandson, Kasey Bowles and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Crystal Renee; two brothers, Charles and Jimmy; and a sister, Betty Wagner. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2012, at Laurel Hill Full Gospel Church by the Rev. William Strickler and Rev. Peter Grimm. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Howie Melnikoff, Curtis Jones, Billy Strickler, Jeremiah Howdyshell, Timmy Sprouse, and Jeremy McManaway. The family will receive friends for 7 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Henry Funeral Home.
