DOCIA S. SWITZER CRIMORA, VA… Docia Carleen Strickler Switzer, 75, wife of William Switzer of 263 Country Estates Blvd, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at her residence. She was born December 18, 1940 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Marshall Franklin and Florence Ardenia (Buchanan) Strickler.She was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Terri Switzer of Luray; a daughter, Tresa Switzer of Crimora; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Marie Strickler of Fishersville and Henry and Linda Strickler; two sisters, Florence and Clara Belle; a grandchild, Daniel Wayne Switzer of Staunton; and other family members. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. William Strickler and Rev. Kevin Ly. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2016, in the funeral home.
