Charles Leon Anderson

CHARLES L. ANDERSON FISHERSVILLE, VA… Charles Leon Anderson, 80, husband of Fonda Lee Folk Anderson, of 239 Cave Hill Lane, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. He was born on October 24, 1936, to the late William D. and Willie B. Danner Anderson. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Fishersville. In addition to his wife of 56 years, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Brian Alan and Amber Eavers Anderson; two sisters, Loe Harmon and Betty Joe Glenn, both of Staunton; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Thomas G. Mace. He was preceded in death by two brothers, J. William Anderson and Garland Anderson; and two sisters, Velma Robertson and Hulen Peters. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2016, at Crossroads Baptist Church by Pastors Heath Spivey, J. R. Johnson., and Bill Johnson.  Burial will be private at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends following the service.   Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Crossroads Baptist Church, 31 Crossroads Lane, Fishersville, VA 22939.
