PAT LAMB FORT DEFIANCE, VA…Charles “Pat” Lamb, 85, widower of Lois Ann (Muse) Lamb, of Fort Defiance, died unexpectedly Thursday, October 6, 2016, at his residence. He was born March 5, 1931, in Tacoma Park, Maryland the son of the late Ernest D. and Pauline (Hammer) Lamb.  He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Nola Lamb. Pat was actively involved in his church, Bethany United Methodist Church in Weyers Cave in numerous ways. Pat and his wife, Lois, were puppeteers and spent a lot of their time sharing The Word with children at Grace Bible Camp and C. C. S. M. (Children’s Sand and Surf Mission). Pat was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Korean Conflict. Family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Cindy Lamb of Harrisonburg; three grandchildren, Bradley (Rindy) Lamb of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Gregory (Lauren) Lamb of Richmond, and Benjamin (Danielle) Lamb of Boulder, Colorado; three great grandchildren, Kyla and Isaac Lamb of Pennsylvania, and Rosalind Lamb of Richmond; and a number of close cousins and friends to whom Pat was very close. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening at Henry Funeral Home, Staunton. A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Bethany United Methodist Church in Weyers Cave. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in McKendree Cemetery in Doe Hill. Henry Funeral Home in Staunton is handling the arrangements.
