CHARLES E. LAMB GREENVILLE, VA Charles Edward Lamb, 75, husband of Sara Miller Lamb, of Greenville, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 at 3:57 p.m. Charlie was born June 15, 1939 in Augusta County, son of the late Tony R. and Marie Fry Lamb. Charlie retired from Fisher Auto Parts after a number of years of service where he was a truck driver and later a part-time delivery person. Charlie loved wrestling and he enjoyed NASCAR. Charlie also liked spending time with his family and visiting his friends at Fisher's and Spyder's. In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by three sisters, Lorene Rowe, Charlotte Lovegrove and Nancy Botkin. Charlie is survived by his wife, Sara Miller Lamb who he married on November 6, 1983; his two daughters, Debbie Nuckols and husband Duncan Nuckols of Greenville and Ann Kellogg and husband Tommy Kellogg of Greenville; two granddaughters, Erica Knicely of Mt. Sidney and Ashley Kellogg and boyfriend Brandon Fisher of Stuarts Draft; one grandson, Ashby Nuckols and wife Jerrica of Greenville; four great grandchildren, Olivia and Bradley Hebb and Makenna and Mason Nuckols; a brother, Larry Lamb and wife Wanda of Staunton; and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, November 21, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery by Pastor David Shearer and Pastor Isca Mitchell. Active pallbearers will be Mike Rankin, Spyder Benson, Derek Almarode, John Buchanan, Danny Lovegrove, and Ashby Nuckols.
