CHARLES M. McCARTY  STAUNTON, VA… Charles Michael McCarty, 63, husband of Kim McCarty, of Staunton, died Monday, August 21, 2017 at his residence. He was born January 26, 1954, in Staunton, a son of the late Charles William and Nellie (McClain) McCarty. Prior to retirement, he was an electrician. In addition to his wife of 44 years, family members include three sons, Thomas McCarty and wife, Amy, Will McCarty, and Michael McCarty; two grandchildren, Quinn McCarty and Xander McCarty; a brother, David McCarty; six sisters, Janet McCarty, Theresa Young, Tina Hines, Vickie Waybright, Dreama Keller, and Faith Provencal; and nephews and nieces, Brandon McCarty, David and Tony McDaniel, Christopher Young, Jody Rimel, DJ Hines, Kajun Waybright, Anthony and Sabrina Dyrattana, and Savanna and Samantha Provencal. A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Harold W. “Pete” Campbell. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
