Charles Cleveland Scott

CHARLES C. SCOTT   STAUNTON, VA… Charles Cleveland Scott, 62, husband of Ann (Harris) Scott, of Staunton, died Monday, June 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 5, 1955 in Staunton, a son of the late William Matthew and Gladys (Anderson) Scott. Mr. Scott was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Grand Piano. Charles was a member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing drums, and singing. In addition to his wife, family members include three sons, Brandon, Justin, and Tory Kier; two daughters, Fawn Scott and Erin Burtner; two brothers, William Scott and John Anderson; a sister, Elizabeth Scott; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Scott and Mary Ellen Stuart. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Scott Cemetery, 8162 State Route 678, McDowell, VA 24458.
