Charlotte Ann Landes

Charlotte Ann (Terrell) Landes, 88, widow of Franklin Holmes Landes,  died Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at her residence. She was born on January 30, 1930 in Staunton to the late James David and Nellie Viola (Humphries) Terrell. Mrs. Landes is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Randy Holmes and Emma Flint Landes; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa Ann and Matthew Steven Gill and Tammy Lynn and Richard Allen Moyer; seven grandchildren, Brett Lee and Steven Dale Akers,  Dalton Wayne, Kaitlyn Amber and Braden Nicholas Moyer, Molly Ann Landes, Emily Virginia Walker and husband, Gabriel Joseph ; two great grandchildren, Hunter Jordan and Madelyn Elizabeth Walker. In addition to her husband of 50 years and her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Terrell. A private graveside service will be conducted at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens . The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., Friday, November 23, 2018 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. The family would like to extend a special thanks to friend and caregiver, Angela Berry Via, Dr. Peter Puzio and the staff of Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah.
