Charlotte Ann Parker

CHARLOTTE H. PARKER EVANS, GA Charlotte Ann Humphries Parker, 73, of Evans, GA, entered into rest on Tuesday September 30th while at home. Ms. Parker was born on January 7, 1941, in Vesuvius, VA where she was subsequently raised. She was the daughter of the late Clyde H. Humphries and Margaret "Polly" Morris Humphries. Ms. Parker was a member of Pineview Baptist Church where she played the organ for many years. She was also a member of the CSRA Southern Gospel Association. She retired from the VA Hospital Canteen Services in 2003. She is survived by three daughters: Pamela Talbott Mazur (Mike) of Martinez, GA; Ladonna Talbott of Augusta, GA; and Margaret Talbott Atchison (Randy) of Evans, GA. She is survived by five grandchildren: David Mazur, Aaron Mazur, Brandon Martin, Jessica Swanson and Bryce Atchison. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Humphries (Anne) of Greenville, VA; her nephew Randy Humphries and her niece Sandy Humphries Mann. She was preceded in death by her precious grandson, Evan Skyler Sharkey of Waynesboro, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 2nd, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Thomas King Funeral Home, 124 David Rd, Martinez, GA 30907. Ms. Parker's burial will be Saturday, October 4th 2014 at 11:00 am at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 6410 Lee Jackson Hwy, Raphine, VA. The family would like to extend thanks her caregivers Carrie Reyna and Shannon DeBow. Pallbearers are David Mazur, Aaron Mazur, JW Humphries, Michael Losh, Dale Fauber and Larry Humphries.
