CHRISTI L. BROWN STAUNTON, VA Christi LaDwan Brown, 51, of 1701 Springhill Road, died Sunday, August 25, 2013, at her residence. She was born June 17, 1962, in Augusta County, a daughter of Helen J. (Jones) Brown and the late Harold Franklin Carter. She was the registration manager at Capital Skylines Hotels. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Restoration Ministries. In addition to her mother, family members include a son, Cedric Franklin Brown of Staunton; a daughter, Very LaVelle Brown of Staunton; two brothers, Ericson L. Brown and wife, Jodi, of Virginia Beach and William L. Johnson of Chattanooga, TN; two sisters, Levis B. Johnson and husband, Irvin, and Tampa B. Stuart and husband, Robert, all of Staunton; two aunts, LaLaura Wayland and husband, Charles, and Vivan Jones; an uncle, Robert Jones; and seven grandchildren, Amarea, Azabdijah, Kyiam, and Onyx Brown and Emysja and Ajablea Caul, and Crimson Wright. A funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon Friday, August 30, 2013, at Oak Grove Baptist Restoration Ministries by Bishop T.E. Payne, Sr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Henry Funeral Home and other times at her residence.
