Christina Marie Hawley

CHRISTINA M. HAWLEYMT. SOLON, VA… Christina Marie Hawley, 38, wife of Gerald L.Helmick, of 57 Wiseman Lane, went to glory on Thursday, September 29, 2016, in Virginia Commonwealth University Hospital, Richmond. She was born October 20, 1977, in Rockingham County, a daughter of Garry Lee and Dorothy Marie Hawley. She loved every minute spent with her family and pets. She was a die-hard Redskins fan and collector of  angels. She had a very warm and loving heart. She was a friend to all and she will be dearly missed and never forgotten. In addition to her husband and parents, family members include two daughters, Destiny Nicole Hawley and Kristen Cheyenne Rhodenizer; a God-daughter, Rebekah Greaver; a step-daughter, Alexis Helmick; her Twin brother, Chris Hawley and his wife, Ashlyn ; two brothers, Aaron Hawley and Chad Hawley and his wife, Stephanie; a sister, Brittany Johnson; a brother-in-law, Dexter Helmick and his wife, Pamela; her mother-in-law, Sandra Shipe; a God-granddaughter, Sophia; and numerous nieces and nephews, along with many cousins. A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
