Christopher Allen "Chris" Lyle

Christopher A. Lyle STAUNTON, VA… Christopher Allen “Chris” Lyle, 41, of 304 Devon Road, died Friday, June 15, 2018 in Verona. He was born December 27, 1976 in Staunton, a son of Donna M. Wolfe and Charles Douglas Lyle and wife, Gail Lyle.   Chris was a graduate of Buffalo Gap High School Class of 1994 and formerly employed by Daikin as a welder. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his girls. In addition to his parents, family members include two daughters, Makalyn Rose Lyle and Annaleigh Grace “Gracie” Lyle; a sister and brother-in-law, April and Robert Martin of California; a brother, Douglas William Lyle; six step-brothers, Richard Riddle, III and family of Florida, Steven Riddle and family of Texas, Jonathan Riddle of Texas, Andrew Wasznicky, Christopher Wasznicky, and Brian Clark; a nephew, Blake Yoder of Winchester; special friend, Charity Craun; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Galen Combs. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made towards his funeral expenses.
