CLARISE MILDRED HAHN HARRISONBURG, VA Surrounded by her family, Clarise Mildred (Dawson) Hahn, 85, widow of Howard Newton Hahn, Sr., of 3935 Sunnyside Drive, went peacefully to her heavenly Father, Tuesday, August 6, 2013, in Rockingham Memorial Hospital. She was born February 4, 1928, in Salem, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Milton Edgar and Bessie Clarise (George) Dawson. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Hahn was employed by Genicom of Waynesboro. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. Some of "Mickie's" favorite things were a love of birds, coin collecting, and gardening, and especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter, who lovingly called her "Mimi". In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael; two half-brothers, Ross Richards and Butch Richards; and a sister, Marion Imogen "Jean" Yancey. Left to cherish her memory are two sons and daughters-in-law, Howard N., Jr., and Zanette (Showker) Hahn of Grottoes and Douglas Wayne and Donna (Swink) Hahn of Staunton; one half-brother, Robert Richards; three half-sisters, Kay Carter, Ernestine Fulton, and Winona Forrester; two grandchildren, Clifford Lee and Jessica (Rexrode) Hahn of Stuarts Draft and Chelsea Leigh Hahn of Staunton; a great granddaughter, McKenzie Brooke Hahn; and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2013, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Paul O'Gorek, Chaplain at Sunnyside. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the funeral home.
