CLINT A. CARTER AUGUSTA SPINGS, VA… Clint Anthony Carter, 37, husband of Lynn Carter, of Augusta Springs, died on Thursday, March 2, 2017. He was born January 24, 1980, in Staunton, a son of Darrell W. Carter, Jr. and Teresa (Baker) Gregory.Clint was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish.  During football season, you could always find him watching his number one team, the Dallas Cowboys. In addition to his wife and parents, family members include his step-mother, Bonnie Carter; paternal grandparents, James and Barbara Bryant; maternal grandparents, Bill and Frances Jones; two sisters, Misty Dawn and Mackenzie Carter; two nephews, Blake Gibson and Hunter Rhea; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Revs. Merle Dodson and Doug Cox.  Burial will follow in Deerfield Community Cemetery.Active pallbearers will be Westley Mitchell, Dwayne Mitchell, Blake Gibson, David Clifton, Mark Craig, Tracy Carter and Jerry Johnson. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in the funeral home.
