CONNIE R. VINCENT STAUNTON, VA Connie Jo Reed Vincent, 54, widow of Thomas Nelson Vincent, of Staunton, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at her residence. She was born March 5, 1961, in Staunton, a daughter of the late William Arguy and Phyllis Lorraine (Clemmer) Reed. She was a graduate of Riverheads High School class of 1979 and attended Cosmetology School at Valley Vo-Tech. Connie was a cashier at Jake's Convenience. Family members include a daughter, Carrie Vincent of Staunton; a son, Matthew Vincent and girlfriend, Alexis Flavin of Staunton; a brother, William Ernie Reed of Middlebrook; a sister, Wanda Reed Higgins and fiancée, Wilmer Roadcap; nieces, Kelly Dodd Barker and husband, Brian, and Cecilia Vincent; nephews, Benjamin Ernie Reed and Sam Vincent; and a great nephew, Derek Barker. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Reed and a sister, Nancy Louise Reed. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Todd Yoder. Burial will be private in Thornrose Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Benjamin Reed, Sam Vincent, Craig Williams, Corey Wood, Brady Dodson, Ethan Wandless, Michael Rexrode, and Thomas Bugden. Honorary pallbearers will be Rosie Green, Logan May, Meghan Rexrode, and Morgan Allanson. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2015, at the funeral home.
