Cora May Price

STAUNTON, VA.. Cora May (Balser) Price, 95, widow of John Albert Price of 512 Houston Street, died Thursday, February 12, 2015, in Envoy of Staunton. She was born June 30, 1919, in Moffatts Creek, a daughter of the late James Franklin and Mattie Creole (Forbus) Balser. She was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Shirley Elledge and Joyce Balser; and 13 brothers. Family members include a daughter, Dorothy L. Craig of Stuarts Draft; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, February 16, 2015 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. David Smith. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be James M. Balser, Steve Balser, Waymon Balser, Stanley Sensabaugh, Roger Sensabaugh, Gary Sensabaugh and Arlie Wolfe. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and nieces. The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m., Sunday, February 15, 2015 in the Henry Funeral Home.
