Carole J. Biby

Carole Jean (Lawhorne) Biby, 80, of Staunton, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at her residence.

She was born November 24, 1940 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Joseph William, Sr., and Ruth (Wilmont) Lawhorne.

Prior to retirement, she was employed by Genesco.

Carole was a member of the Moose and Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. She also loved bingo.

Family members include a son, Thomas Austin Fisher, Jr.; five daughters, Tammy Rexrode, Trena Lawson, Telena Sanchez, Trisha VanDevander, and Billie Biby; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Fisher.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Clay Sterrett. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Dustin Fisher, Thomas Johnson, Logan VanDevander, Lauro Corona, Issai Corona, and Becky Jo Fisher.

The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
