Charles "Chuck" Monroe

CHARLES MONROE STAUNTON, VA… Charles “Chuck” Monroe, 73, husband of Bonnie Ann (Gregory) Monroe, died Sunday, June 16, 2019. He was born July 25, 1945 in a Staunton, a son of the late Sadine Monroe. Chuck was well known for his piano playing and music talent. In addition to his wife, family members include his adoptive parents, Charlie and Elsie Brown of Fishersville and surviving children; a step-son, Tracy Harris and his family; two step-daughters, Wanda Cash and Angela Fitzgerald; step-nephew, Rob Swisher; four step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; and a special friend, Doug Henderson. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019 in Heaven’s Golden Gate’s Church by Pastor Golden C. Clark, Jr. The family will receive friends following the service.
