CYNTHIA S. WEAVER   STAUNTON, VA… Cynthia (Cindy) Sellers Weaver, 54, of Staunton, went to Heaven to be with Jesus on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at her mom’s residence in Staunton.  She was born February 9, 1962 in Staunton, a daughter of William A. and Betty (Moore) Sellers.  She fought a courageous battle with aggressive cancer.    Cindy was a member of the Staunton Church of the Brethren.  She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1980 and from the VVTC LPN program in 1982.  She was employed for 34 years at Augusta Health as an LPN on the Crossroads Mental Health Unit. Cindy enjoyed time with her family.  She also loved taking granddaughter Kaila to Christian concerts and watching her dance.  Cindy loved seeing granddaughter Jasmin laugh and play.  She had two special cats, Snuggles and Muffin. She was preceded in death by her father, William A. (Bill) Sellers in 2001.  Surviving family members include her mother, Betty M. Sellers of Staunton, daughter Heather J. Weaver and fiancé Jeremiah N.Brown, granddaughters Kaila R. Broderick and Jasmin N. Brown, all of Staunton.  Also surviving is her brother, Michael W. Sellers, sister-in-law, Rachel June Sellers, nephews Cameron and Carson and niece Caitlin Sellers, also of Staunton, and a number of cousins. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the Staunton Church of the Brethren, officiated by the Reverend Scott Duffey.  The interment will be private at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Staunton. Active pallbearers will be Jeremiah Brown, Cameron Sellers, Carson Sellers, William Fitzgerald, Miles Fitzgerald, Bill Bishop, Adam Bishop and Michael Schoeller. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2016 at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Shenandoah, and all their staff, and special Gyn/Oncologist, Dr. Erin Saks.
