DAVID W. BOSSERMAN STAUNTON, VA… David Warren Bosserman, 52, of 712 Mineola Street, passed away at home, Tuesday, October 10, 2017, after struggling and battling cancer. He was born January 27, 1965, a son of the late Arnold W. and Joyce (Brown) Bosserman. He was a graduate of Riverheads High School, previously employed at Western State Hospital, Augusta Nursing and Rehab, and Valley Vocational Tech Center, prior to medical issues. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and football (especially the Buffalo Bills), and playing guitar. Survivors include two brothers, Michael W. Bosserman of Clifton Forge and Gregory A. Bosserman and wife, Christine, of Staunton; a daughter, Bridgett M. Bosserman of Williamsburg; aunts and uncles, David and Gail Brown, George and Shirley Gilmer, Lucille Dull, and Nellie Harris; nieces and nephews, Brittney (Jeff) Wells, of Buena Vista, Ashley Bosserman of Staunton, Jeffrey Bosserman, Steven Bosserman, and J. T. Swearengin; special friends, Bobby Waybright, Eloree Lucas, James Carter, and numerous cousins. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2017, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. The family would like to thank Monique McEnry and Elizabeth Dattilio for the kindness and compassionate care of David.
