David Tuttle Chandler, 59, husband of Annabelle (Griffin) Chandler, of Swoope, died Friday, November 2, 2018, at his residence. He was born September 16, 1959 in Augusta County, a son of the late Charles Lee Chandler and Bernice (Campbell) Bartley and step-father, Randolph Bartley. He was employed by Grand’s Home Furnishings for close to 40 years. He loved car shows. He never met a stranger and lent a hand to anyone that needed it. In addition to his wife of 34 years, family members include a son, David Wayne Chandler at home; two sisters, Sharon Mutherspaw and Peggy Ralston; two brothers, Charles Chandler and Gary Bartley; a special friend, Carl Griffin; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2018, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. George Etling. Burial will follow in Hebron Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be David Chandler, Leroy Scott, Wayne Griffin, Robert Crummett, Chad Bartley, and Jonathan Bartley. Honorary pallbearers will be his nieces and nephews.
