David Lee Conway

WAYNESBORO, VA . David Lee Conway, 63, husband of Melissa Conway, went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2015. He was a very caring and loving husband, father, stepfather and brother. Mr. Conway was a Staff Sergeant and served in the U.S. Marines for six years. He was a general manager for Brown Exterminating for numerous years. He loved the Lord, his family, friends and coworkers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Lee and Rachel Lee Conway. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Jerry Conway; stepchildren, Rachel M. Maturo, Joseph A. Maturo, Jr., and William Edward Nuckoles; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Sue Conway, and Cliff and Tina Conway; grandchildren, Alex, Cathy, and Brendan Conway and Casey, Niki, Codey, and Destiny Conway; great grandchildren, Ethan, Aiden and Aaron Conway; brother-in-law, Harry L. McGuire, Jr; and special friend, Mary Lou Austin. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 pm, Sunday, January 4, 2015 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Terry Clark. Burial will follow in Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be friends attending the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
