David Eugene Lassiter

DAVID E. LASSITER STAUNTON, VA… David Eugene Lassiter, 71, widower of Joyce Weeks Lassiter, of 1514 Dennison Ave., died Friday, July 20, 2018, in Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center, Fishersville. He was born September 13, 1946, in Chowan County, North Carolina, a son of the late Isaac David and Mary (Parks) Lassiter. Prior to retirement, Mr. Lassiter was employed by VSDB. He was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Lassiter; two sisters, Judy Lassiter and Mary Greene; and a niece. Family members include a sister, Betty Bristow of Topping; two nephews, Timothy I. Greene, Sr. and Stuart Bristow; and great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2018, in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
