Dean A. Falls

DEAN ALLEN FALLS RAPHINE, VA Dean Allen Falls, 58, husband of Wanda Painter Falls, departed this life on Monday, January 26th, 2015, at Augusta Health in Fishersville. He was born May 1, 1956, a son of the late Ralph and Eva (Allen) Falls. He was employed by Wayn-Tex for 18 years; ran Cash's store in Vesuvius and was employed by the Department of Corrections before becoming disabled. Dean enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Falls of Holyoke, Massachusetts, and a sister, Mary Cash of Vesuvius. Left to cherish his memory in addition to his wife of 37 years are three daughters, Lisa Reeves and Wayne Brown of Verona, Kathy and Calvin Hemp of Greenville, and Carolyn and David Hemp of Middlebrook; eight grandchildren, Allen Reeves, Kelsey McCown, Kiersten, Cole and Calvin Hemp, Clay Falls, Levi and Hailey Hemp; a brother, Larry Falls and Laura of Catawba; and two sisters-in-law, Faith Falls of Holyoke, Massachusetts and Margaret Clemons and Buck of Narrows; and several nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Marsh and his entire medical staff, as well as the staff at Augusta Health. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Henry Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2015, at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church with Olivia Haney officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
