Delores J. Messer

DELORES J. MESSER VERONA, VA… Delores J. Messer, 69, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on January 2, 2017 after fighting a long hard battle with a longtime illness.  She was loved by many and will be forgotten by none.  She was preceded in death by her late husband Jesse G. Messer and her son Randy G. Messer, both also from Verona. She left to carry on her memory two daughters, Missy Messer and her fiancé, Richard Miles, of Moneta, VA and Pinky Probst and fiancé, Greg Ropert of Verona; nine grandchildren;  five great grandchildren; an awesome brother and sister-in-law; seven additional brothers and sisters in OH and WV.; and amazing caregivers, Mickie and Belinda Messer of Staunton, who were right there to make sure she went peacefully with no pain and suffering. Her graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2017 in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens as she has wished. Henry funeral home is handling the arrangements.
