DENISE H. BEESON STAUNTON, VA Denise Faith (Hodge) Beeson, 48, wife of Douglas Lee Beeson, of 302 Norwood Road, died Thursday, December 19, 2013, at her residence. She was born January 26, 1965, in Staunton, a daughter of Russell Anderson Hodge, Jr. and Carolyn Fay (Propst) Stephenson. Mrs. Beeson was employed by Wal-Mart as a department manager. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God. In addition to her parents and husband, family members include a son, Trevor Douglas Beeson; two brothers, Audwin Hodge and his fiancé, Traci Dodson, of Staunton and Merlin Stephenson of Lake Helen, FL; a sister, Ingrid Hodge of Staunton; a step-father, Charles Leroy Stephenson of Staunton; a step-mother, Martha Jane (Hoover) Hodge; several step-brothers and sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and her family of co-workers at Wal-Mart. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Revs. Kevin Persinger and Harold Wade. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Leroy Stephenson, Jr., George Price, and Eric Walter and her nephews, Eric Scott Hodge, Christopher Hale Hodge, and Tyler Scot Arebaugh.
