STAUNTON, VA Dewey See Marshall, 78, husband of Dorothy (Dell) Marshall, of Staunton, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly, Saturday, October 10, 2015. He was born August 20, 1937, in Williamsville, VA, a son of the late Howard See and Esther (Campbell) Marshall. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Innovative Packaging as the Plant Manager. While serving in the US Army, he was stationed at Nike Missile Base in Mundelein, IL., where he met his wife Dorothy of 56 years. Dewey was a loving husband, devoted father and caring grandfather, who enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his wife, family members include three sons and daughters-in-law, Greg Marshall and wife, Beth of Staunton, Gary Marshall and wife, Lili of Staunton, and Kevin Marshall and wife, Kim of Fishersville; one daughter and son-in-law, Lucinda Segneri and husband, Laurent of France; three sisters, Jean Martin and husband Herbert of Richmond, Darlene Landes of Staunton and Joyce Marshall of Stuarts Draft; eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Stephen and wife Danielle, Nikki, Whitney, and Megan Marshall, Ben, Alex and Angelique Segneri. He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Campbell Marshall. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Nick Ryder for his care and friendship. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Henry Funeral Home by Pastor Todd Brown. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at McClintic Cemetery in Williamsville. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Williamsville Presbyterian Church, 16647 Indian Draft Road, Williamsville, VA 24487, American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979 or the Deerfield Rescue Squad, 2927 Deerfield Valley Road, Deerfield, VA 24432. Henry Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
