DOLLY T. SENSABAUGH MIDDLEBROOK, VA...Dolly Jane (Tyree) Sensabaugh, 87, widow of Rodney Thomas Sensabaugh, Sr., of Middlebrook, died Sunday, November 20, 2016, at her residence. She was born January 28, 1929, in Rockbridge Baths, a daughter of the late Homer and Virgie (Sweet) Tyree. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Family members include three sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney Thomas, Jr. and Sheila Sensabaugh, Edward Lynn and Marsha Sensabaugh, and Barry Dean and Donna Sensabaugh; two sisters, Mildred Snyder of Rockbridge Baths and Bettie Cash of Staunton; three grandchildren, Marsha Simmers, Amanda Keyser, and Ryan Sensabaugh; a step-grandson, Myles Griffin; four great grandchildren, Allison Simmers, Claire Keyser, Lance Simmers and Blake Keyser; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Wallace Tyree and four sisters, Donna May Mohler, Virginia Troxell, Anna Connell, and Lorine Tyree. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Redeemer Lutheran Church by the Rev. JoAnn Bunn. Burial will follow in Mount Hermon Cemetery.Active pallbearers will be Weldon Sensabaugh, George Harlow, Jeff Keyser, Kenny Wayne Mohler, Jeff Gordon, Rick Layser, Gary Bunn, and Walt Lupachino. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016, in the Henry Funeral Home. The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Rob Marsh and his staff for their care and also Gail Brown, Faye Taylor, Kim Casey, Gail Grimm, and Nannette Dedrick for their in-home care.
