Donald Hugh Miller, Sr

Front Royal, VA… Donald Hugh Miller, Sr., 76, of Goode Drive, died Friday, February 3, 2017 in Front Royal Hospital. He was born on Apri 1, 1940 in Basye, VA, the son of the late Harlon Columbus and Rachel Isabel (Funkhouser) Miller. Prior to his retirement, he was a Dockman for Emery Air Freight at Dulles Airport. He was a simple man who loved spending time with his family. Surviving family members include a son Donald H. Miller, Jr.; four daughters, Linda Michelle Ingham, Mary Rachel Campbell, Donna Jean Brown and Sarah Jane Miller; two brothers, Larry W. Miller and Willard Miller; four sisters, Sue Ballengee and husband Darrell, Mildred Barb and husband Doland; Florence Barb and Pauline Barb; twelve grandchildren, Ashleigh, Eva, Brandon, Christine, Nicole, Christopher, Austin, Dylan, Dawn Marie, Destinee Isabelle and Michael Ellis; six great grandchildren, Alyssa, Kerra, Abigail, Elijah, John and Zachariah; and the mother of his children, Betty Miller. He is preceded in death by a brother, William Miller; two sisters, Reese Barb and Frances Barb ; and a grandchild, Joshua Allen. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Lester Kennedy.  Burial will follow in Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
